Saturday's Practice (July 17th)

This Saturday we will be at WIRTH BEACH at 8AM. Please note the time and location.

This is the start/finish area of the Trail-Loppet, and should give us more options for non-paved trails, and also a chance to familarize ourselves with the area.

Remember to introduce yourself to someone new :) Also come prepared for the forcasted heat and humidity!

  2. We had 15+ people on Saturday that braved the humidity and heat. We talked about stretching and that dynamic stretching can be benefical before a run, but that static stretching is best done when your muscles are warm. Also emphasized that you want to hold a stretch for 15-30 seconds. Mary V started the group out traversing some of the wild flower trails and then to the quaking bog trails. The group quickly split into two groups and then again ending up with 4 or 5 groups. Everyone had someone to run with, with runners doing 45-60 minutes of running.
